Install your generator in a well-ventilated area with at least 100 square feet of space. Ensure windows or exhaust fans provide air circulation. Never operate in confined spaces, basements without ventilation, or near HVAC intake vents. The ideal setup includes a dedicated exhaust fan rated for explosive atmospheres if operating continuously. Monitor the room for any unusual odors, which may indicate improper ventilation. During extended operation, open windows periodically to ensure fresh air circulation. Professional installation of ventilation systems is recommended for commercial or high-usage applications.
