Your PureOne generator from Daily Hydrogen features a digital display that controls the frequency and duty% (gas production rate). The duty% determines your actual hydrogen output – the PureONE maximum rate is 50 lph, so multiply 50 by your duty% to calculate actual output (e.g., 50% duty = 25 lph).

**For Inhalation Therapy – Rule of Thumb:**
Set the duty% to 1/5th of your body weight in pounds to achieve approximately 2% hydrogen concentration in your lungs – the level used in most clinical studies.
– Example: 125 lbs ÷ 5 = 25% duty%
– Example in kg: 57 kg × 2.2 ÷ 5 = 25% duty%

**Adjusting Settings:**
Any changes made to the gas production rate are expressed through the machine fairly quickly. You can adjust the duty% as fast as you want (holding down the button speeds things up) and everything should stabilize within 5-10 seconds as pressure either builds up or dissipates.

Watch for excessive heat at higher production levels. If the unit becomes hot, reduce power immediately. Electrolyte temperature affects production – cooler solutions produce less gas but run more efficiently. Daily production needs vary by application – find your optimal settings through careful observation and adjustment.
