Proper Use of Cannulas and Breathing Apparatus

Daily Hydrogen provides quality cannulas for hydrogen inhalation therapy with every PureONE.

Cannula options:
Any standard nasal cannula will work with the PureONE. We recommend the Salter Labs brand for reliable fit and comfort. Silicone cannulas are another option for those with sensitivities to PVC, though silicone versions are more expensive.

Basic use:

• Each person should have their own cannula for hygiene
• Clean cannulas with a 60% isopropyl alcohol wipe or topical hydrogen peroxide as needed
• Position the cannula prongs just inside the nostrils — not deeply inserted
• Slide the hose on both sides of the prongs across your cheeks and hang them over your ears
• Adjust the slider for a comfortable fit without pressure
• Breathe normally through your nose

Flow & comfort:

• The flow rate should create gentle bubbling in the purifier bottles
• If you feel lightheaded, reduce the flow rate or take a break
• Never use petroleum-based products on or near cannulas
• Store cannulas in a clean, dry container when not in use

Keep spare cannulas on hand for guests or routine replacement.
