Preparing Your First Electrolyte Solution

Creating the proper electrolyte solution is crucial for your PureONE’s performance. Daily Hydrogen provides pre-measured electrolyte packets for your convenience.

Safety first:

• Always wear safety glasses and rubber gloves when handling lye
• Use only distilled water — never tap water, which contains minerals that damage the system

Mixing the solution:

1. Start with room-temperature distilled water for easier mixing
2. Pour the recommended amount of water into your mixing container (never mix in the generator tank)
3. Slowly add the electrolyte powder while stirring constantly — never add water to powder
4. The solution will heat up during mixing; this is normal
5. Cover your electrolyte solution with a plate or lid while it cools to prevent debris (dust, cat hair) from contaminating it
6. Allow the solution to cool to room temperature before adding to the generator

Check the result:

• The final solution should be clear; cloudiness indicates impurities
• Label and date your mixed solution for reference
• Store unused electrolyte powder in a dry, sealed container away from moisture
